With our roots in the natural landscapes of Trentino, we are focused on the environment, minimising our footprint. Everything is produced in Italy. We have solar panels on the roof of our plant to power the equipment on the production line, and we only work with certified and verified reforested wood.

We manage the entire process, from the design office through to in-house production. We offer a fully comprehensive service, particularly on site, installing windows and doors to the highest of standards, with qualified technicians and all of our own vehicles and equipment.

Twenty years of Alpilegno

1995

Alpilegno is founded by entrepreneur Loris Cellana out of his father-in-law’s barn: an artisan carpentry business with an industrial vision and a clear mission — to produce premium windows and doors

1997–2001

Alpilegno opens its new 70 m2 production facility in Tiarno di Sopra, Val di Ledro (Northern Italy), housing the first pieces of machinery and new employees

2003–2004

Alpilegno grows with progressive investment in machinery, including a new flow-coating line and CNC pantograph machine

2005

Alpilegno suffers a fire which damages the offices and showroom. With the support of all the employees and many local volunteers, production resumes just a few days later

2006

Alpilegno invests more and more in the windows and doors sector, including setting up the first dedicated production line

2007

Alpilegno refits its work areas, extending the production facility and adding a new building housing the offices and showroom

2009

Alpilegno handles two important special projects: windows and doors required after the earthquake in Abruzzo and the creation of 42 oars and 2 flagpoles for the Bucintoro del Terzo Millennio project

2010

Alpilegno continues to invest in the business despite recession in the building sector, installing a new 100 kW solar plant to generate clean energy

2012

Alpilegno drives recovery of activity and orders by updating production lines with two important new pieces of machinery from Biesse: the Uniwin window machining line and the Rover C6 five-axis processing centre

2014

Alpilegno becomes a single-member private limited company and Loris’s two oldest children join the business: Sofia, as administrative manager and Fabio as production manager

2016

Alpilegno continues to update its machinery and take on new personnel. Purchase of the new Ecoline sanding machine boosts product performance and quality

2019

The Alpilegno family grows as Loris’s second son, Valentino, joins the company, managing on-site installation work

2020

Alpilegno prepares for the future, renewing its range of windows and doors and refitting the showroom, redesigning the brand and corporate image

2021

Alpilegno inaugurates its large new facility dedicated to automated production of windows and doors, equipped with a Vidali Finishing automated warehouse for product assembly
